My account is suspended, what can I do now

You’re probably looking at this article because your account was just suspended. If your account is suspended, it means you cannot login to your control panel, use FTP or visit your website. If you want to know what to do next, the first thing you need to know is why your account was suspended. There are three different suspension types.

Suspended on request or inactivity

If you used the Deactivate Account option in your client area or if your account has not received any visitors in 20-60 days, it will be deactivated.

If you want to reactivate your account, it’s very easy. Just login to your client area, click Manage next to the deactivated account and click the Reactivate button.

Note that deactivated accounts are deleted after some time.

Suspended for hitting daily limits

To prevent specific accounts from using excessive amounts of server power and slowing down (or even bringing down) other websites, InfinityFree has limits on how much processing power, memory, hits and so on an account can use in a day. If you hit one of those limits, your account will be automatically suspended for 24 hours.

To learn which specific limit you triggered, what that limit means and what you can do to reduce your usage, please check the account in the client area.

After the 24 hours, your account will be automatically reactivated. Please do not ask for your account to be reactivated earlier, because nobody can do that.

Note that after 24 hours, it can take up to half an hour for the reactivation to be completed. Please do not submit support requests if your website is not back online after exactly 24:00:00.

Suspended because of abuse

To prevent our servers from being used for illegal activities and our servers from being overloaded, InfinityFree uses various methods to detect and take down possible abuse. Both manual and automatic methods are used to detect abuse.

If you believe your account is safe, you can submit a request to have you account checked by staff. If your account is safe, it will be reactivated.

To have your account reviewed:

  1. Login to your client area.

  2. Click the suspended account in the list.

  3. Click the button saying Submit Support Ticket.

  4. Select your domain, enter your message and click Submit Ticket.

After submitting your request, staff will review your account (typically within a few hours).

If multiple accounts were suspended, please submit support tickets for every account you would like to reactivate.

Suspended accounts are deleted automatically after 30 days. InfinityFree are required by law enforcement to keep suspended accounts for some time. Under no circumstance will accounts be deleted earlier. Please do not submit support requests to get your account deleted, as they will always be denied.
