About CloudFlare and WPN Could you could assist me in determining why my website opens so slowly and why the Facebook sharing debugger returns an error? - #4 by wackyblackie

About website migration Please i really need help with my account (Recovery Codes are not working) - #19

Hello everyone, I’m sorry for bothering you again with my troubles, but as I mentioned in prior subjects, I’m not an expert like you, and I’m trying to build my company website while keeping costs to a minimum because I can’t afford specialists after the Covid Pandemic.
Thank you for your time:

Now, as you can see from the title, something has gone wrong since I followed your suggestions to make my website faster and subscribed to CloudFlare to get Thumbnails on my website. My website has been suspended for CPU restrictions every day since four days ago! (I’m not accusing you don’t worry!)

My website is very small (Disk Space Used 446 MB) and very light, and I’ve had less than 2 visitors in the last week, so I don’t think it’s related to my website, but perhaps to one of the two most recent modifications. I’m not sure, but either I’ve had a lot of issues since migrating my website from one account to another because I forgot my password. Every single day since the migration, I have a wordpress bug.

I’ve read many topics on this forum to try to figure out what’s going on, and the best summary I can give is that wordpress is not the best choice for opening a website, and that this may be related to the CPU limit issue and the overall buggy situation, so I’m seriously considering deleting and rebuilding my website with a more stable software.

What are your thoughts on my issue? Do you think we can work around the CPU limit while still using my old wordpress software, or do you think it’s better to just delete everything, clean it up, and start over? What should I do now? I don’t mind if you suggest deleting everything because I’m willing to go to any length to ensure that my website is stable: I can’t afford to waste days of work trying to fix website issues while my clients disappear!

I always follow and trust your instructions because you’re the experts, and I appreciate everyone’s assistance! Thanks!

Hello, thank you for your response; however, I’ve already read this article to begin the discussion; as you can see, my question is a little more complicated.

Ok, I did not reply to you before as I did not have the time to really look at your site.

Right now, it is not suspended, and is connected to Cloudflare.

In your Cloudflare dashboard, you should see a statistic titled “Percent Cached” of something similar. Can you screenshot the graph? Also, confirm that Cloudflare is actually active, and caching is enabled.

You say there are only two visitors, but the daily hits usage graph does show your website gets thousands of hits.

Also, while disabling wp_cron and setting up a cron job instead is great to improve the speed of web traffic, it can also result in the WordPress cron being called a lot more often than if you hadn’t made this change. And that can result in high CPU usage.

It seems the cron job has been deleted now, but if you set it up again, please do not run it every single minute. Running it every 15 minutes may be enough and should generate a lot less CPU power.

Hello, and thank you for your response! Yes, CloudFlare is still operational; I hope this provides you with the information you seek. Anyway, I believe something is seriously wrong because Monsterinsights and Google Analytics are reporting completely different counts of visitors!

 What the hell is going on here?

Hello, and thank you for your response! Please take a look at the answer I gave to Greenreader9, as well as the pictures I’ve included! What’s going on is truly insane and incomprehensible! Without ads, I wouldn’t be able to get as many clicks, and I wouldn’t have as many followers or people interested in my business! This isn’t going to happen in just three days! Is it possible that my website has been hacked? Why does Google Analytics show that I have just four visitors? :scream:

  1. Attempt to allow Cloudflare to cache everything. Create Edge Cache TTL page rules · Cloudflare Cache (CDN) docs

  2. Google Analytics and monster analytics can only show what it tracks. If someone visits your site with an adblocker on, with JS turned off, it does not track it. Some bots that visit your website do not run JavaScript, so they don’t get tracked either.

Hello, Green. Thanks for the response. I followed your instructions to allow CloudFlare to cache everything, and it appears to be working. However, when I check with REDbot, I see the MISS text, which corresponds to what the CloudFlare guide says:

MISS The resource was not found in Cloudflare’s cache and was served from the origin web server.

That’s the screenshot:

Do you think everything is fine or do you think I should do something else?
I apologize for bothering you, but as I previously stated, I am not a professional like you. Thank you for your assistance!

I think this is what you need:

And it’s no bother (Nor am I a professional)!

This is normal. Cloudflare doesn’t cache dynamic content by default, because dynamic content (naturally) can change rapidly, or be different for different visitors (based on location, login status, etc.).

I’m not sure Cloudflare is particularly effective at reducing EP usage at all, because EP usage is primarily generated with PHP scripts, and Cloudflare doesn’t cache those.

Hello! Thank you for the suggestion! I apologize for being so late, but I’ve had some family issues and haven’t worked on the website in almost a week. Anyway, since you persuaded me to alter my CloudFlare profile to “Cash everything,” I’ve had no problems. I read your link, but I’m not sure what to do; do you think I should add some additional rules, or is it fine to leave it as is? Thank you very much for your time!

Sorry for bothering you yet again. Admin, I don’t have any additional CPU restrictions, but do you think I can modify my website with some things to avoid having the same problem again? Do you believe Wordpress is the source of the issues and that I should switch to another platform? Thank you again, and please accept my apologies for my tardiness; I had some family concerns!

Interestingly, in the time you were gone, your account wasn’t suspended again. CPU usage was still high, but not that high.

I wouldn’t say that using WordPress is necessarily the source of the issue. WordPress is a CMS, and CMS are generally quite big. But WordPress can be anything from fairly light weight to an absolute monster to run depending on how you set it up with themes, plugins and so on.

Static sites and simple, custom coded stuff is generally more light weight, but also takes a lot more effort to set up, especially if you want advanced functionality.

Okay, thanks for the suggestion; I’ll try to make it lighter and check it more frequently because I have no idea how to code a website! Have a wonderful day! If the website issue reoccurs, I will post another question!
