Hi.
I was checking my panels. When returning to accounts, I saw that we can active only 3 accounts now. Why?? 15 account limit was better.
Actually, the official limit was 3 accounts per person from day one, but we didn’t enforce it at all. Then we set a hard limit of 15 accounts per person. Now we actually enforce what our terms have stated all this time.
But while we have reduced the limits before, unlike last time, we haven’t taken down your accounts if you have more than three active accounts already. So the transition is more gentle than before. Any accounts already active will stay active, but if these accounts are suspended or closed you may not be able to reactivate or replace them.
I understand that the “sudden” reduced accounts limit is inconvenient for many people. Many people would have preferred to have the accounts limits as high as possible or removed completely. But many would like to see other limits, like the ones on hits, inodes, website types, memory, removed as well. However, we provide a free service, so we need to restrict usage in order to keep costs manageable.
I actually don’t understand, because the Premium offers page says that InfinityFree hosts unlimited domains, so there shouldn’t be any limits. If something changed,
then please change that in on Premium offers page too.

Yes, you can host an unlimited number of domains on a single hosting account. And you don’t get a single hosting account, you get three accounts!
The premium hosting offer also gives you a single hosting account which can host multiple domain names, so it’s a fair comparison. Of course, with premium hosting, there is no limit to the number of hosting accounts you can get, but you’ll have to pay for every hosting account.
