public_html

Where is the public_html folder at? My website isn’t showing up

The directory of website files you’re looking for is called htdocs here.

Is there any way I could create a public_html folder and use that? I’m using dreamweaver and I have an “images” folder, but the images are not showing up in preview mode in Dreamweaver due to them not being in a public folder.

No, you will need to tell dreamwaver to use htdocs as root. You can only get public_html if you use a paid account. Sorry.

I upload manually via FTP, not through Dreamweaver’s site settings.

Upload your files into “htdocs” folder then. Unzip and move the directory backma level if needed.
