Putenv() has been disabled for security reasons

Maybe you should bought a VPS server? Then, you can enable it on your own server.

You’re quite quick to consider something a but there.

Looking at the error message, it seems that this software requires at least MySQL 5.7 or newer to work. Our servers are still MySQL 5.6. That’s not a “bug”, because our choice of MySQL 5.6 is intentional, and MySQL 5.6 is still being supported. We’ll probably upgrade MySQL at some point in the future, and you’ll be able to run this software when we do.

Ask the developer why putenv is needed at all? If it’s to run system commands, then you can be pretty sure that most paid hosting won’t work. If it’s to use .env files for configuration, then the developer made a mistake and the function isn’t necessary at all.
