Sure, why not?
Yes, our hosting is not suitable for API hosting, but that’s because machine access to sites hosted here, as well as cross origin API access doesn’t work. But if you host the React frontend and the PHP API on the same domain, it should work without any problems.
But it is for website hosting, which this is.
