I have a free website with my own domain name, but it is not showing the https only http.
I would welcome advice on how to a to get the SLL certificate for the website.
After clicking the SLL in the control panel I obtained a BEGIN PRIVATE KEY and a BEGIN CERTIFICATE REQUEST - but couldn’t figure out the SLL certificate to load.
I am at a loss so would welcome ideas on how to proceed, thank you
The SSL certificate you need to load needs to be provided by an SSL provider. We cannot provide SSL certificates which are accepted by browsers, so you will need to find another provider for that yourself. Almost any SSL vendor should work, you only need to give them the CSR generated in our panel and they can give you the SSL certificate you can upload here.
