Run php get error

Hi I am try to run php file and get this error = This page isn’t working
in the php file I am try to connect to mysql database
the database is not host in infinityfree

if I change the name to index.html I don’t get error

Connecting to remote databases should just work as far as I know. But a HTTP ERROR 500 just means the script is crashing, which could be for any reason.
