Shortcode not showing up in latest blog posts

Hi all. I’m trying to add a date & time shortcode to a new blog post, and it works fine for the blog post itself but it doesn’t show up on the main page that shows the lastest/recent posts, text shows up but not the actual shortcode results. For instance, text that says: Today’s date is … shows up but not the shortcode date. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

But nobody can help you with just this explanation. Can you provide example URLs and code snippets so we can actually check things?

I stumbled across the solution in the Dashboard customization under the Blog/Archive section … I had to change “Post Content” (bottom of that page) from Excerpt to Full Content. Sorry to have bothered y’all. Thanks for the reply ;o}
