Before posting here, I looked at the other posts similar to this one, but none of the resolutions seem to apply or work. I connected my site to the ftp server via dreamweaver, It appears that my index.html file is in the htdocs folder. It’s named properly index.html but still I get the directory when I try to visit my site on the net. What else is there to try?

You uploaded your folders to /htdocs/AdvantageWebsite.
Please upload to just htdocs.
Put the items in ‘AdvantageWebsite’ into the htdocs folder, and don’t put the folder in the htdocs folder.
In other words, move the files in AdvantageWebsite in htdocs.
