Site goes to 404 even though there's files uploaded to the ftp

I’ve uploaded a page to my site; but when i try and go to my site it 404s every time, and I’m not sure what could be causing it.

upon further inspection; adding a www. in front of the domain allows me to access it. is there a way to make it work without the www, though?

What’s the URL which should work but doesn’t?

Sure, do you have suggestions about what to put in there besides “check file and directory names”?

ok, so the site works perfectly fine with www.; I just can’t figure out why it would possibly only work with www. I had this exact site hosted somewhere else before, and it worked fine, so I’m not sure what could be wrong

@Admin .htaccess rewrite_mod with mistakes, meta redirect tag, etc? There was an article where you’ve listed every possible occasion when error arrives, maybe they need something like that.

@wicked I bet no one could ever help you if you even didn’t provide link to your website where’s problems.

@OxyDac I wantedn’t xd. But maybe it’s just a cache again, www works as he says.

tried cache, not it, but it works on my phone so imma assume it’s fine
