Other Information
I set up my forum all right, it was working until I installed an extension. I removed the extension and tweaked some things, the forum gave me this page as an answer and I can’t find this table. There is a table named “phpBBnetspy_groups”
but I don’t know how to rename it to “phpbbspy_groups”. Would that be the problem? Can you help me please?
I really appreciate your help my friend and I’m sure I’ll be able to solve my problem.
But my panel is different, can you help me how to do it… sorry for my ignorance
The contents of the Operations panel depends on what you currently have selected. You’re looking at the Database options, but you’ll want to edit the Table options.
To find the right page:
Click the Structure tab at the top of the screen.
Find the table you want to edit and click it.
Then click the Operations tab again.
Now you should see the option to change the table (not the database).
Hi friends, I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong but I followed the paths that were directed here and the problem persists. Take a look at the procedure I triggered from the attachments below. Thanks!
You cannot change the name of a database in PHPMyAdmin, you can only change the name of a table.
If you want to change the name of the entire database, you need to export the current DB, then create a new one with the correct name in the control panel. Then you can open the newly created DB with the correct name and import the .SQL file you exported from the old DB into it.
