Just started my first site project with Infinityfree subdomain and I install (Wordpress) SSL/HTTPS certificate (GoGetSSL) by following these instructions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVxXcI6Qako
After testing https site to different browsers, with Opera everything is fine, but Mozilla Firefox blocks site and says “The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates. An additional root certificate may need to be imported. SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER”
SSL Checker says “The certificate is not trusted in all web browsers. You may need to install an Intermediate/chain certificate to link it to a trusted root certificate. Learn more about this error. The fastest way to fix this problem is to contact your SSL provider.”
Any ideas how to fix this?
Are you using a custom domain or subdomain? Can you share the website URL?
Yes, it is true, In free hosting, we cannot install intermediate/Chain certificates. Most browsers accept the certificate. This might help:

And with Infinityfree subdomain and free hosting, that can’t be fixed?

No, I use GoGetSSL a lot and it works fine in Firefox, chrome, and Safari.
Try clearing the browser’s cache and trying again. GoGetSSL is a good choice and should work on the browsers you mentioned.
Why are you using Safari 5.1? It has not been update for YEARS!
Also, why Windows 7? It has not been updated for a while, either.
When machines do not have security updates, they might not recognise a CA/cert.
However, GoGetSSL certificates should work on Windows 7 (SP1), I have tested it.

But in short: the SSL Shopper warning is a warning that can be safely ignored. Most modern browsers work just fine with it. If you are on the small percentage of devices that does not support certificates without CA chains, you have two options:
- Upgrade to premium hosting.
- Use something like Cloudflare to handle SSL.
