Hello everyone, one more question from the beginner.
I wondered what a SSL certificate is, and how to install it. At the moment I’m intruding free certificates.

he only resource with which I was able to figure it out is InstantSSL Official Site | Free Trial SSL Certificate, I went all the way, got the archive with the ssl certificate and entered it into the appropriate field (control panel - security -SSL).

In this case, I still have not seen (https: //) before the name of my site. Or maybe this certificate is not meant for this.

Help me to understand…

You should access your site with https:// scheme. It will not appear automatically until you set force HTTPS in Cloudflare or in .htaccess
