In fact, my website is back, but the error message is still active when I try to access wp admin.
Do you think this is a corrupted wordpress installation? This problem happened shortly after I was prompted to update to wp 5.7

NEVER update through wp admin
Maybe it is corrupted…

Ok, so what i did was, i went to control panel; softaculous, and there was a prompt to complete wp install, which i did, and now i have access again to site and admin.

what do you think happened?

You say not to update through wp admin? always through control panel, softaculous?
