Unable to read txt file loaded to the server

my test website http://taff.me.uk
Works ok

http://taff.me.uk/seattest.txt

is blank, but if I edit the txt file with filezilla, text is there.
No error message just a blank page.

I will be using it to keep a persistent URL for a game server that changes frequently, a simple PHP script. it works perfectly on my home web server, but I need to put it on a server that runs when I am not home.
Any ideas please ?
