Universal SSL

Hi,
im using cloudflare software (from cpanel)
cloudflare give universal ssl auto to all users
& i cant install it on the server

What do you mean by installing Universal SSL? The great thing about universal SSL from Cloudflare is that is doesn’t require you to install anything to your hosting account!

hi,
i dont know why but ssl only working on my www.domain. & not working on domain.
(not working on chrome but working on the others) so i think something is wrong about that

That sounds like it’s just cache in your Chrome browser. Try clearing it or wait a few days.

That sounds like it’s just cache in your Chrome browser. Try clearing it or wait a few days.

I think what he means is the TLS cert generated by Cloudflare, probably so he can use Full(strict) SSL. I found the reason, which I really don’t like because it’s caused me to have to use seperate certs for each sub-domain, is that the cPanel only reads the common name of the cert, and not the alternative names.

That’s likely, yes. I believe Cloudflare calls them Origin Certificates, but they can’t be installed here because they are technically invalid SSL certificates.
