Hi guys, I have tried to install plugin in wordpress, then I got this error “PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT”, then I have downloaded plugin and tried to unzip thru default monsta ftp, but not unzipping it and shows "An unknown error occurred during extract archive.
Someone from support team fix this plz.
Thanks
Surprisingly it is working in another domain which I have in infinityfree. So, it seems tobe some disk issue or some internal issue?
This seems to be a quite common issue, but it's surprising that it doesn't affect all accounts.
Can you please point out on which account it does work and on which account it doesn't? That way, I can try to search for any notable differences between accounts which do and which don't experience this problem.
In the mean time, you can work around this issue by extracting the plugin on your own computer and upload the extracted files. WordPress describes how to do that here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Manual_Plugin_Installation_by_FTP
I just did that and uploading a plugin with 80kb/s is extremely slow. I would like to know what's happening at your side because this is really annoying.Admin said:This seems to be a quite common issue, but it's surprising that it doesn't affect all accounts. Can you please point out on which account it does work and on which account it doesn't? I'm happy to help you, if you could create a new topic and describe the issue, rather than reply to a bunch of somewhat related topics from other people.TB0Y298 said:I just did that and uploading a plugin with 80kb/s is extremely slow. I'm sorry for the late reply.
I've been told that this is a known issue and that a fix was going to be deployed soon. But that was a few days ago already, so it's possible the fix is already live. So it might already be fixed.
