Website not loading after 24 hours of setting the Domain to Infinitiyfree Name Servers

Yesterday i signed up for service and created my account. I added my godaddy domain name under Add-on Domains and set GoDaddy’s nameservers to the Infinityfree.net nameservers. I have waited sufficient time but the website is still not coming up. I called GoDaddy and their tech support said I have the nameservers set correctly and that on their end everything is ok. My website is www.vanguardtaxes.com

Hi
it’s work fine

https://infinityfree.net/support/why-doesnt-my-domain-work/

not here. I’ve tried it on Chrome and on internet explorer thinking maybe Chrome cache needed to be cleared. this isn’t my website. what loads on my end is a generic infinityfree generic page.

ok so DNS is working

1.please be sure to upload all files in htdocs folder (find yourdomainFolder/htdocs/)

2.if your homepage is named otherwise like home.html

you need to define the starting/home page
in .htaccess file inside of your htdocs folder

# start here
DirectoryIndex index.html

if starting page don’t exist - make it

if you use php then index.php
if you use regular html then index.html
you choose name…

one can also do something like this

DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.php

server first go and check if exists index.html
if not then check index.htm
and if it does not exist, it will try to serve index.php

means what you put first

3.maybe helps https://infinityfree.net/support/how-to-migrate-your-website/

@JJKHUNTER ok i find your problem

you installed wordpress in subdirectory /wp/
http://vanguardtaxes.com/wp/

https://infinityfree.net/support/how-to-install-wordpress/

If you just installed the script, you can just delete the old installation, go back to Softaculous and install it again with the right directory. Double and triple check the “Directory” field in Softaculous, it should be empty if you don’t want a subdirectory!

softaculous - if you want to uninstall
on the toolbar (up right) the box icon is located (the mouse above that icon will write “all installations”)
click it
and then How to remove a installation
