Hello hello, I see that there are many moderators on InfintyFree forum.
So I am new here and I have just made a site for my aunt’s Hairdressing.
The following moderators I know are:
BayoDino: I think his/her site is about a videgame in development, I think due to his name and description that he likes Hack and slash videgames like Bayonetta (I love Wii U console
even though it has failed)
Administrator: I see he is obiously the administrator and he controls everthing, his name is unknown.
UnknownLolz; His website is fantastic and he/she is really helpful. I just want to know what CMS did he/she use.
I hope I would enjoy this forum, My school doen’t allow me to stay in internet but I like the this place.
Sorry but I’m not a Moderator lol, To identify whether a user is a moderator is that they will have a shield icon appearing right next to their name.
I’m a he btw so you don’t have to use he/she next time. Also I’m not using a CMS, just using Mobirise since it’s much better and easy. I would code one my own but I still have a poor coding skills since I’m still a basic HTML and CSS coder .
Uhm… And you didn’t include me and OxyDac in the list, because we are also moderators. Also, my website wasn’t there because of some issues with maintaining my server stack, but now is there and for the rest my mind still makes redesigns of my websites better and as I expected, even though I just use what I learned about HTML5 and CSS. Also, @UnknownLolz, welcome to the Regulars crew!
UnknownLolz would probably have received MOD status if he had not been inactive for 1.5 years, and at that point BayoDino and Ergastolator1 appeared who received status after their active commitment for more than a year.
Fortunately I live in Italy and my ISP accepts browsing to all the whitelisted websites (but not the blacklisted ones, which are who received copyright takedown notices). For all websites I use custom DNS resolvers on my computer (and my game console for latency improvement on online games I play), but not on my phone.
Well that’s really a bummer.
Tbh my country’s internet is really shitty lmao, it is super slow, we are pretty much being duopolized by two giant greedy company lol.
And there’s this new 3rd telco player which is owned by the state of China oof.
I never use a VPN; I’m fine with setting up OpenDNS resolver4 (or resolver3) and resolver2 on my devices. Also, if I’m getting booted offline on my favorite online game, I have a Dynamic IP at home, so I never have prolonged DDoS problems, and the IP changes when the router reconnects again to the network. Also, on my zone we only have maximum FTTC (Fiber To The Cabinet) as connection type, not FTTH.
They provide resources on free products recommendation like secure, encrypted and private DNS resolvers, VPNs, Emails (especially if you don’t want your government, trackers and the email provider to see your emails, some private emails providers use PGP/GPG to encrypt your mails).
