I Highly doubt it will be implemented for a while, same with PHP8 It will be a matter of months before it is either considered to be implemented, What with all the OpenSSL problems and that.

Do you mean “the users of InfinityFree” or really “InfinityFree”? Is there anything that needs to be changed on the hosting to make the latest version of WordPress work?
