I was able to use my site, but suddenly I was not able to upload images using wordpress error Failed to write file to disk.
I disabled all plugins, still no go, when I was trying to update wordpress I got error

Installation Failed
I though may be the issue is with fike permission, so I chmod folder and files to 755, still no go.
i deleted htdocs folder and uninstall and reinstall wordpress again.
Still unable to update Wordpress, Plugins, Themes. Also unable to upload images

That means someone may have tampered with the file in transit. I don’t know if this is an issue with WordPress’ download server or something else, but I do know that changing file permissions is not going to solve it.
You could try updating WordPress manually instead.

Agreed, I can update Wordpress manually
But how can I upload images, even that’s not working.
