Updated WP from 5.3 to 5.6

This seems to keep on happening!!! What is going on with this POS hosting service?

its because of the php memory limit, try updating your plugins through softacluous app installer in the control panel. if your wanting to update your wordpress version you can do that also if the server has the newest version.

Yes, it does. And annoyingly, we have no idea what the issue is.

The memory limit? We already increased that one. The file size limit? We already increased that one. The post size limit? We already increased that one. The script time limit? We already increased that one.

But it still crashes. For some reason. We don’t know why.

We’re very, very, very well aware that this causes a lot of distress for many, many users. We know that WordPress is the most popular CMS and that updating WordPress is a common operation, and we want this to go smoothly. But we’re just not sure why it doesn’t work.
