She also said WordPress is bad and should never use it.

cos u get more satisfaction when u code it and it works
A regular notepad has no code in colors (Syntax highlighting)
but maybe she was thinking “the best way to learn html”
because the less an IDE etc. helps you then you are alone with the text/code
so you learn more and rely on yourself

I did it in 2 hours. I have nothing aganist coding. If you want a good website quick, WP is the best. Key word being quick.
My programs are as messy as me irl. And pretty hard to understand
