CNAME to an InfinityFree account URL

My website URL is:

juliancharlesball.epizy.com

What I’m seeing is:

I am unclear as to how to map a CNAME or other type of DNS record hosted elsewhere to a specific InfinityFree URL, e.g.

  • Let’s say I own and manage DNS for xyz.com where DNS is hosted elsewhere
  • I want to create a CNAME or whatever to point to an InfinityFree URL such as the above or even to a folder below that URL

I’m using this software:

I’m hosting my DNS on AWS Route53

Additional information:

Also I would like to understand how this InfinityFree resource can be protected with https given that I am using an AWS Certificate Mananger SSL cert for other (AWS-native) properties

A quick Google search pointed me to this: Create alias records for services hosted in AWS | AWS re:Post

Also, if you haven’t already, it might be worth the effort to ask this question to Amazon as well. After all, the provide the DNS service so they know how to configure it.
