Okok… I got your problems. You have actually installed your WordPress site on /wp/ slug, right? You probably want to shift this on your root site? Visit WordPress codex to know more
You have two options to fix this. You can:
- Move your WordPress site following the official documentation: https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Moving_Directories_On_Your_Existing_Server
- Remove this WordPress and install it again through Softaculous to the right folder.
f you just installed the script, you can just delete the old installation, go back to Softaculous and install it again with the right directory. Double and triple check the “Directory” field in Softaculous, it should be empty if you don’t want a subdirectory!

on the toolbar (up right) the box icon is located (the mouse above that icon will write “all installations”)
click it

thats too dificult for me why is this happening? i was hosting my domain and wordpress on another service and never this problem. only here
the reason why there is a default “WP” value in Directory field from Softaculous
if a user install, for example some forum or other app to root
and then install WordPress

there are automatic values (DIRs) for each application where it will be installed
