hello all, my little web with joomla. ag69.ml. how to i change favicon and tab name on my web? i want change ‘joomla logo’ and name ‘home’. ty.
i cannot find html public on cpanel online file manager. i upload favicon.ico on 4 folders.
‘htdocs’ and
‘htdocs-administrator-templates-hathor’ and
‘htdocs-administrator-templates-isis’ and
‘htdocs-templates-protostar’.
but not working.
help me please im newbie. ty

Try clearing your browser cache!
Does Joomla expose any settings for changing the logo and favicon? Many CMS do, and most of those CMS don’t let you change the logo simply by uploading a file to a folder.

I’m not a Joomla expert myself. But it can’t hurt to click around the settings screens to see if it’s something you can configure.

I can not find it. or there may be no setting for it. or maybe the default joomla template cannot be replaced. the only way with htdocs-templates-protostar. or htdocs-mores. but its same. not working. its ok.

your browser is deifnitively cached favicon.ico
In addition, you must be clear when you are logged in as an admin
your joomla uses a different template and favicon.ico
(it use isis and hathor style for admin view)
while visitors see the protostar style/template

@OxyDac i ever try with xampp. but my windows block some programs from xampp. i no know why. maybe a antivirus or no support on my windows or other. so i cannot instal xampp. so only with infinityfree and web admin.

You can’t get a free ssl from LE if you use file verification.
You must use dns txt verification to get your ssl.
You can just change your name servers to Cloudflare or your domain name provider and add a DNS txt record.
