File Manager "Your session has expired" error

We recently made some changes to the login system for the file manager for additional security. However, this may cause you to the error:

Your session has expired, please log out of your control panel, then log back into the control panel, then click on ‘Online File manager’ to re-login

If this happens, you must:

  • Remove all cookies for http://185.27.134.9 (the file manager URL)
  • Remove all cookies for the control panel domain (e.g. cpanel.epizy.com or cpanel.rf.gd)
  • Login to your account again from the client area and then try to access the file manager.

doesn’t work on me :frowning:

Which browser and operating system do you use? Do you have any browser extensions affecting cookie storage?

I am using UC Web, Firefox, and Chrome. Have tried all of them and even clear all cache and cookies.
I don’t know about the extensions, because I don’t install any custom extensions but default.
Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I’ve got the exact same problem, and I followed the above steps without any glimpse of success.

same error for me

The FTP server is down for me. I can’t establish a connection over port 21. The website emulates an FTP connection and present the data over HTTP, which is why none of us can log in.

I have same problem… 3 days i wait :frowning: Please, find solution of this problem and it will be very fine for us  It is very big problem for admins

After trying the above steps, I’m also still not able to get in.

I tried that
It didn’t work

then I tried to use filezilla
also didn’t work

:#

Same problem. Cannot upload a thing :frowning:

this very bad problem…please fix this

It isn’t working for me either

OK, after a lot of testing I think I found the issue.

A few days ago, we introduced HTTPS on the control panel. While the connection to the control panel was secured, it apparently breaks the session forwarding to the file manager.

A workaround is being deployed right now which disables https for the time being, until the file manager can work with https.

That should fix the issue for now, I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused.
