Filezilla won't connect to FTP server

i’m using FileZilla to connect to my free site and im getting a 530 Login authentication failure

I see there is two different Hostnames to connect and both don’t work for me or I just haven’t waited the full 72 hrs. Is there something I may be missing?

both ftpupload.net and ftp.epiz.com - I see it shows both in different sections in the control panel

I should say I’ve tried both. Not using both at the same time just to clarify. I’ve checked my PW over 10 times… changed port to 21 and nothing… tried my 5lb hammer and all that did was stop my connection and crashed my pc. Guess I shouldn’t use that anymore.

it’s gotta be the fact that I haven’t waited long enough for it to be completely active? Or i’m really missing the obvious.

By any chance did you change your password in cpanel.epizy.com ?
If yes, then force a PWD change through client area

I will check again. I do believe it was just that as I had to agree to have it change all pw related to the site. Not to mention it shows the password if you want it to in the FTP manager

Did you already try the instructions from this article?

that’s the error code. I had to remove the “.” in ftpupload net so it would post to the site… not sure what’s going on. I’ve tried everything on that I can think of…

Weird, I can connect to FTP without problems

Capture

now i’ve tried both ftpupload.net and ftp.epizy.com … port 21 and no port… user name is the same as what is
shows it’s supposed to be.

Capture2

It has to be the fact that enough time hasn’t passed for it to be set up. I don’t see why there isn’t a “Status” for it. It’s really starting to bug me since it’s either that or I really am missing something stupid. This isn’t the first time I’ve set up FTP…

It’s a free service so I can’t complain, just gets frustrating…

Can you try to reset your password in Login to your account - InfinityFree
?
That might help.

Did you try EVERYTHING from the article I shared?

There are some common issues with FTP which can cause unexplained authentication errors. Some of the things in that article may seem random, but they do fix the issue.

I have tried everything except for the one thing that will fix this issue. It’s been well over 72 hours so the site should be completely active. infinityfree_error

Says use port 21 however that doesn’t work… what do I do next?

Could you try that with ftp.epizy.com. Some networks have blocked the ftpupload.net domain for unknown reasons. The log you previously shared from the connection attempt to ftp.epizy.com seemed to have more success.
