As far as I know, freenom rarely (or, more likely - never) gives away free or cheap popular TLDs (top level domains). Popular TLDs are expensive for a reason - most people find them reputable. Simply allowing popular TLDs to be cheap/free and easily accessible means that hackers can easily get around the general rule of thumb that .com and .org domains are likely to be more trustworthy (of course, you should not only abide by that general rule, there are more significant rules out there).

Boa noite, também estou procurando mas, está muito de difícil encontrar u .com que seja 100% gratuito.

Please remember to speak in english.

@anon28537467, note that you will never find a .com domain for free. If you do, I can grantee you its a scam. You will never find these for free because they cost money. If a company is going to give one to you for free, they will actually be loosing money themselves. Although not completly free, you can get fast hosting and a free .com domain name from ifastnet.

VeriSign, the company that maintains the .com registry, charges domain providers for the domains they register. For a .com domain, that’s about $8.50. They need that money to operate the services necessary to operate the registry, like the .com nameservers, WHOIS servers, and want to make a little bit of profit too.

If a domain provider gives away a .com domain for free, they still need to pay VeriSign for the domain. And if you’re not paying for the domain, then who will?

Sometimes you see free domains being offered. But then it’s usually a less popular extension like .xyz, with a limited time offer and new registrations only, and only when the registry also has a discount where they provide new registrations for only $1 or so. Then a provider may choose to pay for the domain themselves for the publicity.

Hosting providers provide “free” domains with their hosting package, because the domain name is included in the package price. You’re still paying for them through the hosting package.

One example is iFastNet.

You can get free subdomains with .com, .org, etc at freedns.afraid.org . But I don’t know how can it be used in infinity free.( If you need top level domain without restrictions of subdomains, there is no way)

You can also get free subdomains with .com directly from us. So if you’re fine with a free subdomain, you can just do that.

You cannot host subdomains with us without also hosting the base domain here. So you can’t get a free subdomain from another provider and use it here.

@anon28537467, a .com, .net or, .org will NEVER be free/cheap, unless you pay iFastNet. Your options is to use Freenom, or InfinityFree subdomains.

You can renew domain on Freenom.com.

Freenom is a good alternative for free domains, but extensions are limited. You cannot use a .tk domain here because they were marked as spam extensions. When you pay iFastNet for hosting and a “free” domain, you are partially paying for the rights to that domain name. iFastNet then pays VeriSign (the .com owner) for your domain. There is no such thing as a free .com, .org, etc. domain.

DO NOT USE dot.tk, .tk domains are not allowed on InfinityFree.
