GoGetSSL certified, but Softaculous says "Cannot find trustworthy SSL Certificate"

What is the website you are trying to use? Tell me the URL.

myviphub.rf.gd

When you add a website to cloudflare, it says no subdomains? @Admin Are infinityfree domains subdomains? I think cloudflare recognizes your domain as a subdomain. myviphub.rf.da - The rf in this URL might be recognized as the actual domain. The .da might be recognized as the actual ending for a domain (.com, .org, etc.)

In my understanding, I think cloudflare takes rf.da as the actual domain name and the myviphub as the subdomain name.

I think the options are the following:
(PAID) Upgrade cloudflare plan
(FREE & RECOMMENDED) get a domain at freenom

Yes and no.

  1. Cloudflare CANNOT be used on free subdomains from InfinityFree
  2. You CAN use Cloudflare on Custom Domains (yoursite.com) and with Custom Sub-Domains (subdomain.yoursite.com)

I presume it is owned by infinityfree.
I don’t know, when I registered my free account here on infinity, I chose this free domain.

You need to set Cloudflare up with your main domain first, and add the sub-domain afterwards.

isnt rf.gd a domain though? (made by InfinityFree?) and then when you register an ifinityfree ‘domain’ its actually a subdomain on rf.gd?

It is, but it’s from Infinity Free, so you cannot change name servers, therefore, it cannot be used with Cloudflare.

Than you cannot use cloudflare

Ok hold up, I have a solution. Let me type it up.

I would recommend:

  1. Using freenom to get a free domain (This can hurt your SEO though)

  2. Get a custom domain (You can get a .COM for $9/yr on namecheep)

The solution here is probably the only way if you really want softaculous to work.

Get a freenom domain name.

At freenom, you get a domain in this format: yourdomain.ga (tk,ml, and others)

THESE ARE NOT SUBDOMAINS LIKE INFINITYFREE.

This will help you fix the cloudflare problem but you have to change your domain for it. As many people have said, Using cloudfare with infinityfree domains is not possible.

I use freenom and my problem like this had been solved

Basically: When you register for a domain at infinityfree, you get a subdomain instead of a actual domain.

Just as a heads up, I don’t know if it ACTUALLY set up correctly, but I chose the HTTPS protocoll, and this time (magically) I just clicked the install button, the install worked, so I have cakephp in my folder. Now I don’t know if it will resort to using http once I upload my app, but AT THE MOMENT, it looks like it would work.

Also, I was googling like crazy for a free domain yesterday, and google didnt pop up that freenom website for me. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I will for sure change it

Ok! Once you change domains, you can backup and reupload on new domain. I strongly suggest changing domains asap because you are bound to encounter another problem like this without cloudfare

Awesome! I can see the cakephp on your site, so it looks like it worked! If you want to keep the domain you have now, it may continue to work, or you can get a freenom one or a cheep custom one. You can also get a free SSL certificate with the domain you have using the SSL tool on the InfinityFree client dashboard!

If you have any question, please let us know!

No its not, I have tried it, but when I click “get it now”, it says not available :frowning:
Well whatever, I’ll just come up with something else

Oh. You could try another domain or purchase one for cheap somewhere else. Good Luck!

Thank you guys for the help!
If something else comes up along the road, mind if I ask you about it? :stuck_out_tongue:
