That really won’t make a difference as adding www. is just like adding a subdomain, which like any other domain, takes up to 72 hours to propagate.

Didn’t work for me last time i tried. Dns propagation always takes up to 72 hours. Possibly it can take only 72ms for you to propagate… Though.
Also your topic title sounds like you’ve entered into the server motherboard and have hacked it to remove the delay in dns propagation.

There is an interval in the DNS called TLL which tells the DNS resolver how long to cache a query before responding to a new one. Basically, you must have been right at the end of the TTL when you added www to your website. It’s an interval that basically checks on your website’s subdomains and all every so often and after the specified amount of time ends it looks for new ones. That’s why it takes up to 72 hours to appear (I think that’s why at least…).
