Yes, I used them, but they didn’t do the conversion. The plugins show an error saying that the webp extension is not enabled by the server. Could you please check the issue?
Well I do not remember WebP being disabled on free hosting. There’s probably a WordPress settings that you need to turn on to enable the WebP extension.
