What I’m seeing is: An internal error 500 when trying to access Softaculous Apps Installer from cPanel.

I just tried to open Softaculous from your control panel and saw this message:
It appears your account has fully used it’s inode allocation, you will need to delete files to reduce inodes before the script installer will work, or upgrade to premium hosting where we offer over 400,000 inodes !
Softaculous needs to create a few files in your account to store some of it’s data. If your account has hit the inode limit (which your account has), Softaculous cannot create these files and it will break.
