Please I need help! I accidentally changed the wordpress domain name using this tutorial:

Now my site is gone and I don’t know how to recover it

Can’t you just change it back? If your domain is gone, create a new hosting account.

And next time, ALWAYS KEEP A BACKUP!!!

Welcome,

  1. Login to your client area, find your hosting account, click Manage and then go click Control Panel.
  2. Go to phpMyAdmin, find your WordPress database and click Connect Now.
  3. Find the table with the name ending with _options and click on the name.
  4. Find the rows with the column option_name matching siteurl and home. These should be the first two in the list, but you can use the Search function if you can’t find them.
  5. Change the domain name for those two entries

The domain financialfreedom.42web.io is not assigned to any hosting account right now, so it won’t show any website on it. You can fix this by adding the domain to your existing account through the Subdomains section or by creating a new hosting account for it.

In either case, you will probably need to move the files of your site to the new domain directory. But unless you deleted the files yourself, nothing is lost.
