PrestaShop supports MySQL

I read on prestashop that it supports MySQL 5 and i read on infinityfree forums that it doesnt:

  MySQL Error No : 1071
  MySQL Error : Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes

InnoDB is not supported on free hosting.

Yes their software requires and need InnoDB but InfinityFree’s servers here doesn’t meaning InnoDB won’t work.

They do what? Support InfinityFree? Because they don’t.

Prestashop supports MySQL. We provide MySQL. But Prestashop also requires specific MySQL addons which we don’t offer, which is why it doesn’t work.

There is a lot more software in the e-commerce category of Softaculous which you could try.
