Hi, I do digital art and sometimes, that includes NSFW. However, I would only post the SFW version and link to the NSFW (with a warning) on a service separate from yours dedicated solely for that purpose.
My question is, would that make me run afoul of your terms? Basically all the stuff that’s going to be on my website is SFW.

Basically, any content SHOWN or HELD on the server that is NSFW, is prohibited. You SHOULD be able to link back to another site that allows NSFW content to be shown, weather or not you put a warning.
I don’t think our terms prohibit that kind of content. The block is mostly intended for full porn sites, which are often abused for spam, scams and malware. If it’s mostly digital art which is being shared, some of which are NSFW and are marked as such, I don’t see any reason why we wouldn’t want to host such content.
That said, there are automated scans which look for porn content. So if the NSFW content is surrounded by a lot of “lewd” words, you may run into trouble anyways.

Okay so it’s fine to host my own digital art as long as it’s not actually pornographic real people, and there’s sufficient warning about the nature of it before showing it on the website, am I getting that right?

We do automatic content scans on websites to find abuse. Since we don’t allow porn sites, porn keywords like “sex”, “tits” and so on can get your site classified as a porn site.
Policy wise, we don’t have a problem with your website, but your website wouldn’t be the first to be falsely classified by the automated filters as a porn site.
