I Can’t seem to verify my site on ad networks like adsense and proppeller ads. they both said that I should put html verification on root directory. so I put it on htdocs and the verification failed. so I tried putting the verification outside of htdocs but I don’t have permission. I think my site’s ‘root’ directory is outside of htdocs. the directory with the files “do not upload here.” Help., has anybody get around this?
Because of this security system any sort of web page validation (like HTML files or meta tags) is not possible on free hosting. The best way to verify your site somewhere is either through CNAME DNS records or through email verification.
