I keep seeing that the daily hit usage is around 3% while i haven’t used so much my site. Some time ago my script’s views counter gone crazy so i removed it. Are these spambots trying to do something?
…or it’s just my AJAX refreshing? i forgot that it would be the cause
Usually, you should be able to check the access logs of your website to see which pages are getting so many hits and where those hits come from.
However, if you have some javascript continuously asking the server for updates, then that’s probably the reason you’re burning through your hits limit.
hmmm… The logs folder does not appear in the FTP, but in another account it does. Why is this happening?
