SSL free

Hi everyone, I don’t know how to create and register a free SSL certificate for the web.

I’ve been trying for hours but I have no idea, in case you can help me or explain the steps to follow. Thanks you

You can use InfinityFree’s free SSL (https://app.infinityfree.net/ssls) or you can search up free ssls (free ssl certificate - Google Suche). If you are going to use the infinity free one then I recommend following this article:
https://support.infinityfree.net/https/how-to-get-free-ssl/.

This SSL provider requires additional verification to issue your certificate. Please click the pending certificate for more information.

I still don’t know, do we have to wait for the client area SLL to be accepted or processed?

Yes… You need to wait until the certificate is accepted. I’m a bit confused though, what step/process are you on? Did you complete the inserting records into the CPanel?

Thanks,
Casmat

P.S. I learnt how to add mine using

No, not yet, I just requested it. I don’t know how to follow anymore

Ok, which SSL provider are you using? e.g. Let’s Encrypt or GoGetSSL
You will see which one you use by

  1. Login to the client area.
  2. Go to the “Free SSL Certificates” section.
  3. You will see SSL provider next to domain name

Thanks,
Casmat

GoGetSSL

If you’re using GoGetSSL:

  1. Click the Request SSL Certificate button, or click the Pending certificate already there.
  2. On this page, you’ll see one CNAME record, with a destination ending at comodoca.com. This is the CNAME record you need to add.

Thanks,
Casmat
