The newest version of InfinityFree forums is so far the most optimal and upgraded forum version I have witnessed so far in any services on the web as other user’s replies are shown if they are being written and things are synced and well connected with each other.
And the ability to paste images directly from your clipboard into the editor is an useful one too.
The forum software we’re using is called Discourse. It’s still quite new (first version was released in 2015), but I think it’s the best forum software in existence today. It’s used by many big companies and communities already.
Operating it isn’t super easy (you need to have your own servers for it, it’s impossible to host on any shared service), but it’s well worth the effort.
