Error Message

I created an account today and think I set everything up correctly, but I’m not able to see my website. If I go to just rivals.rf.gd without typing in https://, I just see a page with “related links” to the domain rf.gd. When I try with https://, I get a ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR.

Other Information

  • From my account page, the status says “Active.”
  • I set up the SSL using GoGetSSL, and the SSL status says “Valid SSL certificate is installed.”
  • I uploaded my files to the htdocs folder via FTP.
  • Tried incognito and an anonymous proxy browser to see if it was cache related; no success.

I am assuming the domain is just going to take some time to populate? I just don’t want to wait 72 hours to find out I messed something up. Any advice helps. Thanks in advance.

If you just created your account, then you have to wait because of DNS propagation

I also heard that rf.gd domains take upto 12-24 hours to activate.

Your website looks great. I can see it already.
As cookie1982 wrote, give a few hours for the DNS to propagate and it will be available everywhere.
