What I’m seeing is: I read all the benefit of turning on cloudflare, are there any hidden cost or embeded AD? what does cloudflare used for ?Any cost later on ?

Cloudflare doesn’t have any hidden cost or embedded ads inside the free plan.

Cloudflare is used to add a global CDN (Content Delivery Network) for your website, making it sure that visitors can access your website faster than ever. It also has some good features, like SSL/TLS support, DDoS attack prevention page, HTTP/2, 0-RTT and coming soon also HTTP/3 with QUIC.

If you want to use some other features of Cloudflare, since it hasn’t them all on free plan, you can also pay for a bigger plan. If you don’t want to use them, then you can still stay on free plan and not pay any cost for that.
