I have one too

@wackyblackie probably knows what I mean when I say that todays quote is a good one:

“If you have a dream, don’t just sit there. Gather courage to believe that you can succeed and leave no stone unturned to make it a reality.”

I just speant 10 minutes creating 9 email address for my new domain name (not tinkertechlab.com).

I will probably use one of them.
An automated system will use one of them.
So I will only use 22& of them

But for some reason I love creating email addresses and making that dropdown menu where I pick an email address to send from longer.

I don’t know, it’s a weird obsession.
Help me stop it.

My email app begs you (It now has 16 aliases for one email address, 22 email address total. And that is not counting my throw-away address, which are handled in a different app).

EDIT: It is actually 23 emails total, not 22. Still not counting disposable ones.

I imagine some sys admin on Google looking at the spike on the graphs
and wonders why everyone visits that link about cookies :joy:

Update : on forum we had three times more logged users than usual

Can anyone help me with this?

They’re all the same “threat” but I can’t find what it is!

Nevermind, Microsoft Defender falsely detects Win32/Hive.ZY in Google Chrome, Electron apps (bleepingcomputer.com). So that would be Edge, Discord, Postman, Spotify, Chrome Canary, VS Code, GitHub Desktop. Ugh!

This topic is dead yet again, I’m here in an attempt to revive it.

Hey @Oxy, fairly specific Windows question here, maybe you know the answer?
(Also open to everyone else)

When I plug a new drive into my PC, file explorer opens. I want to keep this behavior for every drive but ONE specific one. (Not the port/drive letter, but the actual drive itself). The drive in question is a raspberry pi pico acting as a HID. So when I plug in a normal drive, file explorer opens. If I plug in the pi, it does not.

Also, I want this drive to not show up in file explorer (But I want to still be able to access the files by typing in the drive letter manually). I don’t want to hide the drive letter (Looking at you google), but just the one singular drive (Raspberry Pi Pico) instead.

So basically, only the pico should be affected, no other drive.

Hopefully, this is actually possible.
Thanks!

It’s been a while since I’ve heard of Raspberry Pi. Also, sadly I cannot help with your issue because I’m not very experienced in these kinds of problems, sorry! Hopefully, you can resolve the issue.

Can you imagine hearing this while in the nuclear station?

Also, I always imagine nuclear power plants as those very creepy low (low ceilings) and dark areas with hallways and exposed pipes.

Imagine that but brand new, and galvanized, with branching hallways and that alarm blaring.

Maybe I won’t get into nuclear science.

Hey though, at least I learned something new today:

If you have watched K19 - The widowmaker (I haven’t lol).

Btw, sorry I couldn’t find a criticality alarm (that sounds scary as heck).

This is the closest I can get:

(Comments won’t make you sleep at night anymore)

And here is what a nuclear power plant sounds like when it starts up:

Can anyone see I went into my nuclear obsession phase (again)?

I think it’s because to me, they are so scary and yet awesome (and yet scary. Like I said, can you imagine being in one of those things with the hollywood-like meltdown sequence with - which would actually happen - alarms blaring and you running for your life knowing if you dont you could very likely die of ARS?!)

I don’t know if I understood everything clearly

but first you need to assign a permanent letter to that device (drive)

after that, hide only that “letter” so that it does not appear
